49 NORTH® PREMIUM PLUS 7000 HEAVY DUTY ENGINE OIL is a top tier superior quality, heavy duty, drain extendable engine oil (compared to conventional engine oils) with few equals, designed to surpass the most stringent engine manufacturer requirements for high output diesel engines including EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) engines. It is also compatible with catalysts, soot traps and other pollution control devices required for 2007 diesel engines. Blended from highly refined mineral oils and specially engineered proprietary additives to provide extra protection in both low temperature operations and extended high speed, high temperature operations.

49 NORTH® PREMIUM PLUS 7000 HEAVY DUTY ENGINE OIL exceeds Caterpillar requirements for operation using ultra-low sulfur fuel (15 ppm max.) as well as for low sulfur fuel (500 ppm max). This special formulation, with the ability to maintain power in low emission engines, includes advanced soot dispersant agents and high detergency levels designed to protect bearings and other engine surfaces from corrosive and erosive wear. 49 NORTH® PREMIUM PLUS 7000 HEAVY DUTY ENGINE OIL is formulated to manage and control the soot, sludge, and varnish, commonly encountered in engines operating on low sulfur diesel fuel with EGR.
