Molub-Alloy 412 ES - 2 is manufactured from select, high-viscosity petroleum oil together with modified petroleum constituents. The thickener is a unique calcium that is resistant to water and offers additional load carrying and antiwear properties.
Metallic lubricating solids of a specific grade and size distribution are treated to increase their natural affinity for metal surfaces. These lubricating solids are permanently suspended in Molub-Alloy 412 ES - 2 to assure effectiveness throughout the full working life of the lubricant.
Rust and oxidation inhibiting characteristics are maximized for effective rust protection and long grease life. |
Applications:
Conditions requiring an open gear lubricant with excellent adhering and protective characteristics are found in process industries such as steel, mining, forest products, etc., where machinery is exposed unavoidably.
Molub-Alloy 412 ES - 2 is primarily intended for use on open gears and cables exposed to excessively wet conditions or inclement weather such as rain, snow, ocean spray, and salt water. Molub-Alloy 412 ES - 2 can also be applied to exposed slides, chains, wire rope, and flat cables.
Molub-Alloy 412 ES - 2 may be applied by brush, paddles, or spray. For cleanliness and ease of application Molub-Alloy 412 ES - 2 is also available in plastic-tipped cartridges for use in caulking guns. |
