Castrol SpheerolTM EPL 0 range of grease is lithium-based product containing highly-refined mineral oils and fortified with extreme pressure (EP) additives as well as corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. This grease has been formulated with additives that provide good film strength under medium-to-high loads.

Applications: The Spheerol EPL 2 is general-purpose grease designed for plant-wide lubrication. The general purpose bearing lubrication of a NLGI 2 semi-fluid grease suitable for centralized lubrication systems and grease filled gearboxes. These greases provide good protection against rust and corrosion as well as resistance to water wash-out—which makes them particularly suitable for equipment where moist or wet conditions are common.
