Castrol SpheerolTM EPLX 1 range of grease is lithium complex-based product containing highly-refined mineral oils and fortified with extreme pressure (EP) additives as well as corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. This grease has been formulated with additives that provide good film strength under medium-to-high loads.

Applications: The Spheerol EPLX 1 range is general purpose greases designed for plant-wide lubrication. This grease provides exceptional film strength and is formulated with a proprietary additive system to protect against friction and wear under heavy loading. This grease also provides good protection against rust and corrosion as well as resistance to water wash-out—which makes them particularly suitable for equipment where moist or wet conditions are common.
Typical applications are ball and roller bearings, bushings, in steel mills, mining, logging, chemical and construction industries, and where conditions require sealing against outside contaminants such as dust and water.
