The LUBRIPLATE SFL Series was developed to meet the ever-increasing demands placed on food-processing equipment today. The synthetic base fluid and the aluminum complex soap thickener allows for a wide operating temperature range for all four NLGI consistencies.
LUBRIPLATE SFL-0 is similar to SFL-1 with the exception that it has softer consistency, which is NLGI 0 respectively.
LUBRIPLATE SFL-0 also have an approximate operating temperature range of -60 to 300°F.
Applications: These compounds may be used on food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing and packaging equipment as a protective anti-rust film, as a release agent on gaskets or seals of tank closures and as a lubricant for machine parts and equipment in locations in which there is potential exposure of the lubricated part to food, beverage, pharmaceutical and related packaging equipment. The amount used should be the minimum required to accomplish the desired technical effect on the equipment.
