 Mobilgrease XHP Series products are extra high performance lithium complex greases intended for a wide variety of applications and severe operating conditions. These greases were designed to outperform conventional products by applying leading edge, proprietary, lithium complex manufacturing technology. They are based on high quality paraffinic mineral oils and are manufactured and formulated to provide excellent high temperature performance with superb adhesion, structural stability and resistance to water contamination. These greases have a high level of chemical stability and offer excellent protection against rust and corrosion. Mobilgrease XHP Series greases are available in NLGI grades 1, 2 and 3 and with base oil viscosities ranging from ISO VG 100 to ISO VG 680.
Mobilgrease XHP 681 Mine, a member of the XHP family, is a highly specialized grease engineered to handle the lubrication demands of off-road equipment used in the mining industry. Using the same proprietary lithium complex technology, Mobilgrease XHP 681 Mine utilizes an ISO 680 viscosity and a polymer-enhanced backbone to provide the water resistance and wet shear stability critical to successful grease lubrication for this environment. The AW/EP additive system coupled with 5% molybdenum disulfide loading provides a balanced load-carrying capability across a spectrum of load, speed and temperature conditions, all prevalent in mining equipment used in the job of digging and hauling mineral deposits on a daily basis. All of this performance does not come at the expense of pumping characteristics, as Mobilgrease XHP 681 Mine retains good mobility even at moderately low temperatures.
