Altra Curve Rail Grease is a stable, NLGI 1.5 grease for use on the inside curves of railroad tracks where excessive wear can be experienced. It contains suspended graphite which will reduce wear between the rail and the wheel flange in sharp curves. Since extreme pressures can be produced in the inner track, Altra Curve Rail Grease contains a graphite component to extend track and wheel flange life. It will cling to the wheels, and continue lubricating along the length of long curves.
