Curve Grease is a high-quality, mixed calcium-lithium grease developed for the lubrication of curved railroad tracks. It is sprayed on the sides of the railroad tracks through stationary applicators to minimize metal-to-metal contact, reduce friction between the train wheels and the rail, and extend the life of the curved railroad tracks.

Curve Grease is manufactured with naphthenic base oils and a mixed calcium-lithium soap thickener. It is fortified with antiwear additives and graphite to provide outstanding protection for the curved rails and rail car wheel flanges exposed to heavy loads over a wide range of temperatures. It retains its fluidity at low temperatures and its consistency at high temperatures, and has excellent resistance to water washout. It adheres to the rails in wet and dry conditions.

Features/Benefits
  • Excellent resistance to changes in consistency at high
  • temperatures
  • Adheres to metallic surfaces
  • High film strength
  • Excellent resistance to water washout
  • Reduces friction for improved track and wheel life
Applications:
Curved railroad tracks, Wheel flanges of railroad cars, Mobile and stationary equipment requiring a graphite grease
